EXPERT WITNESS

As an Expert Witness, Robert Dale helps in the dispute resolution process by providing objective, impartial, expert opinion in his specialist areas of surveying and construction.

 

Robert has over thirty years post qualification experience in surveying practice and the construction industry. Initially qualified as a Quantity Surveyor and then also becoming Chartered as a Building Surveyor, a wide range of experience has been gained acting as quantity surveyor, contract administrator, project manager and principal designer on developments and construction projects. Sector experience includes private residential, social and commercial housing, education, health, community, sports and leisure, offices and industrial projects.

Having qualified and worked in central London, Robert joined the Daniel Connal Partnership in 1995 to help establish their Norwich Office, becoming a Partner in 1999 and Senior Partner in 2011.

It was after joining Daniel Connal Partnership in 1995 that Robert was introduced to dispute resolution under the mentorship of former Senior Partner, Chartered Arbitrator, Adjudicator and Accredited Mediator, Bob Juniper FRICS FCIArb FFB. Since then Robert has been acting as Expert Witness and Single Joint Expert, regularly providing expert opinion on the cost of construction work, workmanship standards and construction contracts.

As well as acting in construction contractual disputes, home-owner/builder disputes, contractor/subcontractors disputes and in claims against construction professionals. Robert has also provided expert opinion on the value and quality of construction work in personal injury cases, matrimonial, fraud and criminal cases.
